prof. UAM dr hab. Anita Napierała – historian, head of the Cultural History Department at the Faculty of History, Adam Mickiewicz University. She specializes in cultural history, the socio-cultural history of medicine and hygiene, and the history of private life in the 19th century. Her research and teaching interests also include issues related to digital humanities and the use of digital tools in the historian's methodology.
prof. UAM dr hab. Lucyna Błażejczyk-Majka - due to my education and professional experience, my academic interests primarily focus on quantitative methods in historical research, especially in the fields of economy and economics. Some of the publications I have co-authored deal with the efficiency of European Union agriculture and the history of cooperative banking. I am also interested in the historical causes of regional disparities. I teach economics and statistics courses.
PhD Bartosz Hordecki specializes in research in the field of political and legal rhetoric, political philosophy, language policies, the history of socio-political concepts, and political and legal cultures (especially Polish and Russian).
prof. Christopher Korten researches the history of religion and European politics in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. He writes about the Church in Italy and diplomatic relations between Tsar Nicholas I and Pope Gregory XVI. He is currently preparing a biography of the latter. He also runs an English-language blog on Instagram.
prof. UAM dr hab. Rafał Dymczyk an avid traveller, and lecturer of tourism classes at the University of Adam Mickiewicz in Poznań, for many years working as a tour leader on various continents. In addition to conducting classes, he organizes foreign research trips and student internships.
PhD Dorota Molińska works at the Department of Early Modern Art History. Her research focuses on the history of modern art, the early art of the Iberian Peninsula and Latin America, and the art of Poznań in the 19th century.
prof. UAM dr hab. Tomasz Pędziński is an employee of the Department of Chemical Physics and the Center for Advanced Technologies of the Adam Mickiewicz University. His scientific interests focus on the application of laser spectroscopy to the study of biological processes.
Konrad Kośnik works at the Department of Psychology and Cognitive Science. His field of research are history of psychological thought from an indigenous perspective, theory and methodology of the history of psychological thought, psychology of culture and religion and their connections with national identity.
prof. UAM dr hab. Piotr Podlipniak - musicologist. He studies the genesis of human musical abilities and the origins of music and its relationship with the natural language, using the achievements of the psychology of music, anthropology of music, neurobiology, ethology, evolutionary biology and linguistics.
prof. UAM dr hab. Rafał Witkowski - Vice-Rector for International Cooperation at AMU. His research interests include: the history of monasticism, source studies and auxiliary disciplines of history, the history of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, the history of the Jewish population in Greater Poland
prof. UAM dr hab. Tomasz Kwiatkowski - I work at the Astronomical Observatory of Adam Mickiewicz University. I study the physical properties of asteroids, mainly those that come close to the Earth. I observe them with different telescopes and determine their rotation periods, sizes, shapes, and spin axes. My interests also include instrumental astronomy: building telescopes and detectors. Besides, I enjoy teaching astronomy classes. The ability to explain something to others is the test of my own understanding.
PhD Michał Kosakowski works at the Department of Psychology and Cognitive Science. His field of research is Anomalistic Psychology, the Psychology of Conspiracy Theories, and Cognitive Science of Religion.
PhD Adrian Trzoss works at the Department of History. In his research, he focuses on historical methodology, digital history, historical awareness, and social media.
Małgorzata Witczak - senior lecturer at the Foreign Language Teaching Centre of Adam Mickiewicz University. She has been working at various faculties of UAM teaching ESP as well as general English to undergraduate, graduate and doctoral students. She is a Cambridge examiner at KET, PET, FCE and CAE levels.
prof. UAM dr hab. Maciej Kandulski
He is a staff member of the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science, and specializes in formal linguistics and its connections with logic. His teaching interests include logic, formal languages, automata, and computability. He was a dedicated Erasmus coordinator in his faculty. In private - a sailer, diver, philatelist, and an admirer of Richard Wagner music.
