Prof. Mateusz Stróżyński gives a lecture in Cambridge
On October 19th this year prof. Mateusz Stróżyński, a LAS lecturer, gave a lecture at the Cambridge Center for the Study of Platonism. The title of the speech was "The One as Giver in Plotinus - Metaphysical and Spiritual Implications". At our request, he prepared a short video summarizing the content of the lecture.
Prof. Mateusz Stróżyński runs three class within Liberal Arts and Sciences program: "Theory of Science", "Interpersonal communication", "Psychological contexts of human behaviour"). Scientifically, he studies the practical dimension of philosophy, especially of ancient Platonism (spiritual exercises and contemplation) and its subsequent reception. Besides that, he runs a psychotherapeutic practice.
